This is a pretty classic sunrays through trees shot, its not often that the conditions combine to form such distinct rays and the enjoyment of the photo largely lies in the conditions. It is a shame given the outstanding conditions that more could not have been made of the image from an artistic standpoint. There are several ways this image could have gone in a more interesting direction. The first lies in better execution of an idea the artist is already using. The red leaves hanging above the runrays are certainly a wonderful subject, but in the context of the view with this composition, they are somewhat lost. A stronger composition could ahve been found by shooting in portrait format. An entirely different ideal would have been to abstract the trees and sunrays to create a completely different image. A panoramic crop from below the sun to above the groun gives a shot with a really strong graphic impact and that would have been where I would have gone with this to create something original. Lastly even with this rough framing the shot could have been improves by eliminating the dark tree on the left and getting rid of most of the ground.
It might seem like a bit of a harsh critique for such a fantastic image, but I think a bit more work could have paid off when everything else is perfect. Technically the image could not be improved upon in my opinion.

EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC what can i say EPIC. this picture is awesome in all ways you have done a perfect work in every way. It make my feel like i am watching something from lord of the rings or something else from some kind of fantasy film or book.

light is perfect the location is perfect everything is perfect. the originality tough is not your fault because i have seen these pictures thousand of times but this is the best one i have seen but yours is different than all the other pictures i have seen with this motive. this is worth a fav and a watch without a doubt and you make my pictures look like something a three year old monkey have taken ! Awesome picture !
